The structure and material of various high-pressure hoses
Steel wire reinforced hydraulic hose: including a variety of rubber hoses, such as SAE 100 R1/R2/R5, EN 853 1SN/2SN, EN 857 1SC/2SC and so on. Most rubber hoses consist of three parts: an inner tube, a reinforcement and an outer layer. The inner and outer layers are usually made of high-quality synthetic rubber, making the hose resistant to abrasion, corrosion, weather, ozone and ageing. The reinforcement layer is made of spiral or braided steel wire or fibre fabric, which makes the hose structure strong and resistant to high pressure.
Wire-wound hydraulic hoses: include a wide range of rubber hoses, such as EN 856 4SH/4SP, SAE 100 R12/R13/R15 and so on. They consist of three parts: inner tyre, reinforcing layer and outer layer. The inner tube and outer layer are made of high quality synthetic rubber, which makes the hose resistant to abrasion, corrosion, oil, weather, ozone, ageing, cutting and sunlight. Therefore, the hose is suitable for transporting petroleum-based hydraulic oil. The reinforcement layer is made of multiple layers of high-strength twisted steel wire, which makes the hose highly resistant to high pressure. Therefore, this rubber hose is suitable for extremely high-pressure environments.
