Oferujemy szeroką gamę adapterów BSPP (brytyjskich) do rur równoległych. Złączki te są odporne na wysokie ciśnienie i temperatury. Rury BSPP lub z gwintem równoległym są dostępne w wielu rozmiarach i wzorach, aby spełnić Twoje indywidualne potrzeby.

The key to hydraulic hoses is proper matching. Mismatched fittings can lead to leaks and damage to equipment. Your hose likely uses British Standard Pipe (BSP) threads.

What are British Standard Pipe Threads?

The engineering field relies heavily on people using recognized measurement methods and standards to measure products. British Standard Pipe (BSTP) is one of the widely adopted thread standards internationally. It is used for sealing and connecting pipes and fittings, as well as piping systems. Threads conforming to this standard achieve connection by fitting an external thread (called a male thread) onto an internal thread (called a female thread).

This type of threaded fitting is common in equipment manufactured in Europe, although it can also be found in the United States.

Types of British Standard Pipe Threads

These threads come in two types. One is a parallel thread, where the width remains constant throughout the product; the other is a tapered thread, where the size changes along the length, either increasing or decreasing. Tapered threads are denoted by "R," and parallel threads by "G."

You will often see parallel threads referred to as British Standard Pipe Parallel threads (BSPP), and tapered threads as British Standard Pipe Tapered threads (BSPT).

A male BSPP thread can mate with a female BSPT thread as long as the female thread does not rotate. Otherwise, they will not mate due to the shape of the end of the female thread.

BSPT threads are very similar to another type of threaded fitting called NPT. However, British BSPT threads have a thread flank angle of 55 degrees, while NPT threads have a thread flank angle of 60 degrees.

Both types of threads can be used for engaging threads and long threads. Long threads achieve engagement by compressing the material between the outer and inner thread surfaces. Engaging threads simply connect the two threads together.

BSP threads Sizing

British Standard Pipe threads come in at least 41 sizes, from 1/16 to 18. They were originally named according to the inner diameter of the screw (in inches), but this naming convention is no longer applicable as modern manufacturers often produce screws with thinner walls.

Determining the thread size requires measuring the outer diameter of the thread (in inches), then subtracting a quarter of an inch, and then counting how many threads there are per inch. Afterward, you can compare it with an imperial/metric size conversion chart.

Sinopulse Helping you solve British standard pipe fitting problems

Since imperial and metric units are international standards and widely recognized, it's highly likely that at least some parts of your equipment use imperial or metric threads. For this reason, Sinopulse stocks a wide variety of imperial parallel threads, and with years of experience, we can accurately identify the imperial threads and specific sizes used in your equipment.
