Arctic Low Temperature Hydraulic Hose

Arctic fuel transfer hose with internal spring guard, stainless steel ground wire and fuel-resistant neoprene exterior. Designed for gasoline, diesel, B20, E15, and kerosene. They use low-temperature synthetic rubber, which is highly resistant to oi,l especially at extremely cold environments. The hoses is frost-resistant for high-pressure use applications.

Meets SAE J1527 Type A1 (Flame resistant, increased permeation resistance). FC234 is an SAE J1942-1 (May 2002) qualified hose for marine fuel lines, no firesleeve required.

What types of hydraulic hoses are made to withstand low temperatures?
Industry standard hydraulic hoses are made to withstand a temperature range from –40°F to 212°F. Low temp hoses are designed to support hydraulic systems facing extremely cold temp. Low temperature hydraulic hoses are specifically engineered for extreme cold environments, withstanding temperatures all the way down to –70°F.
How long will a hydraulic hose last in cold weather?
Standard and extreme temperature hydraulic hoses are designed to last very long, in many cases up to 10 years with proper care and maintenance. If you select the right hose for your low temperature application, your hose can also last for years.
What hydraulic applications require low temp hoses?
A variety of commercial and industrial applications may require low temper hydraulic hoses. Your hydraulic system may be exposed to external environments with temperatures below –40°F, such as in construction or forestry applications, or you may have internal operations, such as in the food and beverage industry. In both cases, you need to select low temperature hoses specifically designed for these low-temperature environments.
How are hydraulic hoses tested for extreme low temperatures?
In order to perform in extreme cold weather, sinopulse-a hydraulic hose manufacturers conduct rigorous testing to ensure their low temp hoses meet application requirements. To achieve optimal performance in extreme low temperatures, the Artic hose rubber compound special rubber. Then put hose into test machine that frozen down to –55 degrees and placed in a cooler for 24 hours. It then went through a cold bend radius test. The hose maintained its flexibility and did not crack, proving it to be ideal for routing, installing, and operating in extreme low temperatures.
