SAE 100R12 comprises four helical wire spiral reinforced hydraulic hoses ranging in size from 3/8" to 2".
SAE 100 R12 four steel wire spiraled hydraulic hose is used to deliver petroleum-based hydraulic oils in high pressure working conditions, in heavy industrial and commercial equipment such as excavators, loaders, and construction machinery.
It is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover. The tube is made from black oil resistant NBRโnitrile rubber, making it perform outstanding in delivering petroleum-based hydraulic oils. The reinforcement is made from Four layers of spirally wound high tensile steel wire, making the hose resistant to withstand high-pressure applications and extreme temperature conditions. The cover is made from high quality abrasion, weather and corrosion resistant synthetic rubber accepted by MSHA.
SAE 100R12 heavy duty hydraulic hose is reinforced by four layers of spiral steel wire in alternating directions which can balance pressure and containment forces. Spiral wire reinforcement is ideal for high-impulse and high abrasion resistance applications. make it ideal for use in challenging environments such as construction, mining, and oil and gas.

It consists of a synthetic rubber inner tube compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like polyolester, polyglycol and vegetable oil as well as standard petroleum based fluids. The four-layer steel wire spiral reinforcement makes it a suitable hose for applications requiring high pressure, is ideal for high-impulse and high abrasion resistance applications. Its outer cover layer is made of synthetic rubber, which is able to withstand adverse weather conditions, oils and abrasion.
It is available in nominal diametersย from 3/8" to 1 1/2". It can withstand working pressures from 276 bar to 172 bar. The operating temperature is -40ยฐC to +100ยฐC. Exceeds all performance requirements for SAE 100R12, EN 856 R12 and EN 856 4SP (-16)
