Tube is made from oil resistant synthetic rubber, so it can handle a wide range of fluids, including oils, lubricants, water and other hydraulic fluids. Reinforcement is two braids of high tensile steel wire, making hose have solid structure and suitable for high working pressure environment. Cover is made from oil, weather and abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber, making the hose resistant from weather, ozone, abrasion, and corrosion. SAE 100R16 Hose Structure
SAE 100R16 hose is composed of three parts: tube, reinforcement and cover.

Reinforcement: 2 layers of high tensile braided steel wire, making the hose work well in high-pressure working conditions.

This R16 Hose has the same specs as the 100R2 Hose, but it is more flexible. This R16 rubber hydraulic hose has a small bending radius, making it ideal for use in narrow installation spaces.
The robust construction comprises a synthetic rubber tube, double wire braid reinforcement, and a black synthetic rubber cover, delivering premium abrasion resistance.

The hose is recommended for high-pressure hydraulic oil lines. Meets or exceeds all requirements of SAE 100R16.
