SAE 100 R17 wire reinforced hydraulic hose is suitable for some equipment with compact and narrow installation space because it has a small bending radius and outer diameter. All sizes up to 1" I.D. rated for 3000 PSI maximum working pressure.
The SAE 100R17 hose consists of three parts: inner tube, reinforcement layer and outer covering. The inner tube is made of black oil-resistant synthetic rubber, which makes the hose widely used in conveying oil products. The reinforcement layer is made of one or two layers of high-strength braided steel wire, which gives the hose a higher working pressure(up to 3000psi) and is more advantageous for use in hydraulic, industrial and agricultural applications.ย The outer covering is made of ultra-high-quality weather-resistant synthetic rubber, which makes the hose resistant to abrasion, corrosion, weathering, ozone, aging and cutting. Therefore, the service life of the hose is longer.
