UHMWPE Chemical Hose
UHMWPE Chemical Hose is a high-pressure, high-temperature suction and discharge hose that handles approximately 98% of commonly used acids, chemicals, and solvents. The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) tube will not leach into and contaminate the product being conveyed and features a temperature rating of 140ยฐF (60ยฐC). The green EPDM cover is abrasion and ozone resistant.

Construction
Tube: White, smooth, Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE)
Reinforcement: High tensile textile with helix steel wire.
Cover: smooth(wrapped finish), EPDM rubber, resistant to chemical, weathering, and ozone. Available in green, blue, yellow black and grey, white color to choose.

UHMWPE stands for Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene.
What are the UHMWPE advantages over XLPE?
UHMWPE hose is increasingly replacing XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) lined hose because UHMWPE liners are suitable for food-grade products (non-contaminating, odorless, non-toxic) and high-alcohol liquids, and offer excellent resistance to corrosive industrial chemicals such as acids, bases, caustics and organic solvents.
UHMWPE has a low coefficient of friction, providing excellent abrasion and wear resistance for chemical slurries or sludges
UHMWPE is also more flexible than XLPE, making it an easier product to bend and maneuver in applications and providing better joint retention for safer use.
UHMWPE features a double steel spiral construction that provides a full vacuum rating for suction applications and makes the hose easier to bend in confined areas.
What is suction and delivery hose
